Temared joins the TIV

Tremared joins the association representing the interests of trailer manufacturers Trailer Industrie Verband TIV, based in Berlin.

The main objective of the association is to ensure the participation of industry representatives in decisions and legislative changes, but also:

- exchange of know-how in working groups

- collection and publication of statistics

- personal contact with industry representatives.

The working groups deal with important aspects related to the production as well as the use of trailers in EU countries:

- the impact of modern electromobility

- regulation of the driving licence

- unification and standardisation of approvals

A dozen of Europe's largest trailer manufacturers, producing more than half a million trailers each year, are members of the association.
